Sandra I have lower back problems and just one day using my teeter I could feel the pain relief

Freeballer I use it to simply feel great. After a long day's work it stretches my back muscles and spinal column allowing them to fall back into alignment. The inversion table also allows the heart to get blood to the head easily so I am able to meditate on things with greater clarity (more blood-more oxygen) while inverted. Especially great when you really need to think about something while taking care of your back at the same time. The only thing I do not like about it is the ankle restraint. It is designed with quality in mind, but not much comfort. I triple up on socks and wear extra puffy tennis shoes when using the inversion table. Separate ankle gear to alleviate this problem is available but only in the Sport version. It can also be purchased separately. Overall I recommend this product to anyone who needs to relax their back and leg joints. Awesome product.

Tony B I tried the Teeter inversion table in the showroom and felt imedeate relief from my lower back pain. I didn't buy the Teeter on the spot, but shopped and compared other less expensive models.

After seeing the differences in quality in other brands, I ended up back at Dicks to buy the Teeter that I first tried.

The construction and design of the Teeter is first class. The ankle restraints are very secure and comfortable.

I feel very safe and secure on this machine. The other brands that I tried were much less stable.

I've found that I only need to invert for a couple of minutes at an angle of 45 degrees to feel rejuvinated. I've tried to invert for longer periods of time, but it has caused slight soreness without additional benifit. Sometimes less is more.

I only wish that I would have bought this machine sooner!

Gman I have lived with/dealt with lower back problems off and on from my teens to now(43yo). Once in awhile bouncing back seems particularly tough. Most recently was one of those times. This thing took longer to assemble (35-40 minutes) than it did to relieve the back pain I had. Just got it and used it yesterday and feel great today, something I haven't been able to say for some several months. Things to note: this thing is what they say it is, high quality construction and materials. It's sturdy and I have no doubt it will hold many times more weight that it is rated for. It really does fold up easily. I'm 6'3" 230lbs, work out all the time. If your somewhat heavier that average or plan to do ab workouts, get the sport model with the gravity boots. The stock ankle contraption is good but can get uncomfortable for hanging extended periods of time or moving around allot. You can order bigger handles from the teeter website, might be worth purchasing if you plan to use it allot. if I could improve anything, i'd add some inline skate wheels so when folded up and tilted it could rolled rather than carried or dragged. Sports Authority really had a good deal on this, I bought the 550 sport model with the gravity boots ([$] everywhere else) for [$], the same price for the table alone, so basically got the boots and hang bar for free. I know that not all back issues are going to be helped by this, but for compressed disc-type problems it is THE BOMB.

Marty I've been using my EP-550 for about 2 months now. My spine Dr. prescribed inversion therapy for long term treatment of L5-S1 pain, so I did extensive research on inversion tables before purchasing. I selected the Teeter EP-550 model because I wanted inversion, full inversion and condition training capability all in one package.

So far, I am happy with my purchase. Many of the lower priced inversion tables are flimsy and of poor quality. The EP-550 is is a quality product. It is very easy to control body position and I feel secure in all positions. I highly recommend the EP-550 for those that need inversion therapy or want an inversion table for conditioning and/or training.

Mitchell I have had back issues for several months with pain levels increasing. I recently had a MRI which showed two bulging disc in my lower back. I wanted to give this a try before consulting a surgeon about my back pain. Only after two days of using the Tetter EP-550 Inversion Table my lower back pain started to subside. I have been using this machine for one week, once in the morning and before bed time. I currently am pain free and my lower back feel great. This investment is well worth the money.

tdj At first it takes some time to get use to but, it becomes a regular routine to relax the back. If you have this model you need to order the attachment with gravity boots for those who have weak ankles the price is about [$]. But, if you struggle with your back, this inversion table will relieve tension and after using it on a regular basis you will get use to it and use it longer and longer.

Prescription free I have a degenerative disk (L5/S1) as a result of an injury and subsequent disk surgery (should have skipped the surgery...). My wife borrowed a friends Teeter 5000 model for a few weeks (friend was traveling) and it gave me instant releif. The day came when I had to return the borrowed Teeter and I knew immediately that I was going to buy one for myself. I had been a regular user of vicodin and muscle relaxers for longer than I can remember (result of too many pills over the years). Since I have been using my Teeter I have not needed to take so much as an asprin for back and or leg pain. I feel GREAT! I realize everyone's situation is unique and I am not trying to convert others - just sharing my good fortune in finding a product that has helped me start living pain and prescription free. My teen age kids (very athletic) also use my Teeter on a regular basis and think it is great relaxation and provides a beneficial stretch after working out or competing. I gave a fair amount of thought to trying a less expensive model but most of the reviews I read convienced me that the Teeter was the better option for me and for the money. Think about it - do you want a flemsy inversion table when you are hanging upside down wondering if it is going to give out and drop you on your head? Best advice I can give anyone thinking about purchasing an inversion table is to borrow a friend's table for a week and try it out (would have to be a really good friend for me to give mine up even for a week). Inversion might not be right for you... but then again you may find you no longer need those prescriptions.

Vic in Mpls I purchased this product on the advise of my chiropractor and LOVE IT! My lower spine / lumbar area began feeling better within the first few uses. Regular use has also helped lengthen my spine witch in turn helps with my daily yoga practice. I feel better, I am standing taller, I am able to breath deeper and most importantly seeing improved core strength! Great product ~ thank you.
