Virgil The EP-950 is a well engineered and well manufactured product, which arrived on schedule and in excellent condition. Our own Chiropractor recommended it before we decided to order. Since I am used to assembling 'complicated things' it was fairly easy to put tigether, but I did use my own #10 and #13 metric socket wrench sets to speed the assembly. The video's were excellent showing how to 'sanely' utilize the many EP-950 features.

Old Baldy This unit is actually heavier duty than it looks so the stability and peace of mind you get while using it is fantastic. I've got 40+ years of exercise/training/injuries to deal with and this machine is just the ticket for "realigning" after my usual weight bench/treadmill/abs machine workout. It does take some getting used to and you best be ready for the learning curve before you buy it, but the quality of the machine and results are worth the price especially for those with back/neck difficulties.

Sweet Sue About 15 years ago I fell down the basement stairs and did a lot of damage to my lower spine. I probably ruptured several vertebrae but never went to a doctor because I refuse to be operated on. Over the years my back got worse. Adjustments by my chiropractor helped a little but by the next day I'd be in severe pain again. It got so bad last year that I could hardly walk and figured I was a few years away from a wheel chair. Then, just before last Christmas my daughter & family came for a visit and brought their Teeter 950 with them. They were so excited about theirs they wanted us to try it and see if it would help. I used it every day while they were here and by the time they left my back had had some wonderful pops and I could bend over without it slipping out on me. We were so happy we decided to order one for ourselves from SA. It [...] was easy to assemble. Both my husband and I invert for about 5-10 minutes every day. I'm 63 and he's 71. Over the past 4 months the tight muscles and tendons have stretched and allowed my spine to realign and now my back is almost normal. I have very little pain. When the muscles and tendons relax they give a startling pop. It's a wonderful feeling. I'm now almost completely pain free. My husband does a lot of yard work and inverting every day keeps him out of pain and away from the chiropractor. The money we paid for our Teeter has saved us a lot of money in chiropractor bills. I haven't been able to work in the yard for years because of the pain I've been in but I think this summer will be different. I think everybody should a Teeter Hang Up. Thank you Teeter[...]

Catlady This is a great inversion machine. I choose this model because it had the features except the inversion boots which I figured I would purchase separately. The easy reach ratchet is wonderful, the degree angle strap is great for beginners, the over easy handles are wonderful and the traction handles make for such a better stretch. It maneuvers easily, is very sturdy and does what it is supposed to do. My only issues with it, are it is almost impossible to fold it up(which may not be a bad thing as it makes it sturdy), but if you are looking for something to put under the bed, this may not be the model for you, as it is heavy. The thing I dislike the most, is that I had intended to buy the gravity boots, but they are not compatible with this model. Of course my feet and ankles are not very comfortable and my feet fall asleep or get numb and tingling. I really wish they had boots that were compatible with this machine, as I am not even doing the full inversion yet, just the 60 degrees, and am having problems with my feet. Otherwise this is a great machine.

gojurick I've long thought about purchasing an inversion table to help fight my sore back. I don't have any real problems, but with exercising every day and a bed that's just a bit too soft, I usually have at least a little back soreness. SA was having a 25% off sale on Thanksgiving day, so I decided to pull the trigger and bought this product, even though it was a little more expensive than I would have liked. Once I received [...] I was able to put it together by myslef. The product is fairly heavy and well constructed. One reason I bought a higher priced product is I wanted to feel safe hanging upside down. Some fo the ones I looked at just gave off the aura of cheapness. This product is just the opposite. It feels so solid. Once I'm locked in, I know I'm not going anywhere. I love the adjustable pedals, they work with any shoe I have. The table is incredibly easy to adjust for me or my wife. I only use the table for 5-10 minutes a day, ususally right after working out. I'd love to get on first thing in the morning, but I'm too rushed. I have to say that so far, it has been wonderful. While my back still hurts now and then, it's definitely getting better. I figure as long as I keep using it regularly, I should be good to go. I had never heard the Teeter brand name before, but I'm glad I took the time to research, read the reviews and select this model.

Rick This table required about 1 hour of assembly. All the tools were included and instructions were explicit. It is a solid product; operation is smooth and well balanced.

I use the table for 5 to 10 minutes twice a day, to relieve the effects of a bulging lumbar disc.

I find it relaxing and my back feels better. I don't expect this to fix a bad disc, but it does improve the symptoms.

JC I tried a modle of the same company and found this one the most for the money and operation. The ease of operation compared to the models I tried was clear. It does reduce some of the pain I had and its a superior stretching tool. I feel better in general after using it. It's definately not required to go fully inverted. The best pro for this unit is the foot locking system, which is 4 fold better than others in my opinion. The easier reaching handles it comes with are nice but not really needed once you are balanced and used to using the machine. They are however nice for new users trying your machine. It may be one of the best for folding up for storage, but I find it annoying somehow and leave it out. After a week or so it wasn't really in the way anymore. One thing when trying one out - DO Not believe completely the person "demoing" the unit. Read the little booklet hanging on the side and adjust it correctly, as it will save you a headache. I have been told also about the "head rush" and its true if you go to much or for too long a time. After being used to it (4th time) head rush is gone and the back, with a bonus of knees, legs, and even neck feel more limber. In short I am glad I have one. Good luck and health.

Stretch me I get on this Teeter for about 5 min. a day. I hang just over 1/2 way to upside down (so I'm slanted) and get great benefits! My back and neck feel great. The machine is extremely easy to use. It doesn't feel cheap. The Teeter is VERY sturdy and I trust it. With any machine like this, moonboots would be great for the ankles, but I don't hang all the way upside down. It's a nonissue for me. However, going upside down, completely, does hurt the ankles after a couple of minutes. I've used one other, old school machine from the 80's, and this Teeter was more comfortable. Put this machine where you can use it and store it because it's a heavy piece to move. There was a broken part due to shipping and the Teeter company promptly addressed my issue with pleasure! I'd rank their company 5 STARS!

Steve the Elder I bought the inversion table after reading an article on relieving back pain. My internet research indicated that Teeter made the best product. I couldn't find any negative reviews on it and the positive reviews highlighted the areas which mattered most to me: the table relieves pressure on the spine as advertised, quality construction, ease of assembly, good customer support, portable, and space-saving design. If I had it to do over, I would buy this product again.
