Goldsmember Bought these hooks because I used to own Valeo hooks that I liked and thought these would be the same. Wrong. These are cheaply made and do not fit an adult male's hand well. The hook is so small and incomplete it provides little support. Also the the hook is in the wrong place for an adult's hand because it is so short it only comes to the base of the palm, not the center-top where you need it. I think the product may have been designed for kids for gymnastics, because an adult could not use them to lift weights of any significant.

I went back and bought the Schiek Power Lifting Hooks for more than twice the price. They work great.

Justin Jaye Awful hooks.. they are too small for an adult hand and do not wrap properly around a normal olympic sized bar. Not only that.. when deadlifting 405 lbs the hooks bent to a nearly straight position. Was hoping these hooks would be better than straps (which got me a 500lb deadlift). Not dice.. do not get these.. i have used great hooks.. and this is as cheap as they get.. stay away if you do any serious lifting.

Gymrat Completely iseless, don't buy these. I used Harbinger hooks and loved them, then bought these thinking they would be about the same. The Valeo hooks don't fit around the bar, the bend radius is smaller than a barbell, and the hook is too short. When deadlifting, the bar rolls out of the hooks and it becomes more difficult to hold than if not using them. I don't know how Valeo sell something so poorly designed for it's intended use

oh_that_1_dude Bought them to deadlift with. I always use straps but I wanted to try something else. So I figured these would do the trick... Only problem is, when I pulled 405 (not my pr) they bent. Found another product similar to these just more heavy duty and a better design. Satisfied with my new lifting hooks. As for these, if your wanting to lift 405 or more I don't recommend these

SweetnSourLvr Works great as it takes the heavy load off of your grip and moves it to your wrist & forearm area. Hook position was great for an adult hand...right on the money.

darkbytes Whenever you're working your back.. you use so much weight that your hands get tired before your back muscles... this doesn't allow you to use your full potential when doing deadlifts, etc... that's why you need hook hands, and Valeo are very good quality!! this is my second set and I love them!

None I use this product, every time I am at the gym. At 65, my grip strength has been problematic. The lifting hooks, definitely help me.

Luna This product is really usefull for people who doing high weight at gym.

Its the perfect gift

mevs.me Great straps... very comfortable... if anything I would make the

hooks a little wider.
